Essential cookies. Our host, Cloudflare, may set cookies that keep the site secure and working. These are strictly necessary and the law does not require consent for them.
The newsletter form. The newsletter signup box is provided by Beehiiv, and using it may set a cookie from Beehiiv so the form works. It is only involved if you use the form.
Joining a club. When you sign up on the join page, your signup details are briefly stored in your own browser so that the consent form can greet you with them after you set up your Direct Debit. This stays on your device, is strictly necessary for the signup to work, and is cleared once your consent form is complete.
Visitor statistics. We use 1 optional cookie, Google Analytics, to understand how the site is used. No advertising, no selling data. It is off until you press OK on the cookie banner, and your choice is remembered for 6 months in a small cookie of its own, shared across our pages so you are only asked once. If you would rather not have it, open Find out more on the banner and choose Essential cookies only. Nothing is then loaded, and anything already set is removed. You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie choices link at the bottom of any page, and the site works fully either way.
What we do not use. No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, and no profiling of any kind.
